When in an open field, Jaume Plensa has finally the possibility of installing a sculptural piece in the heart of Madrid, he does so in the form of a white, great height infant head named Julia: "I think it was essential to introduce tenderness in the public space"(1). The expression of the sculpture distills tranquility and harmony from its feminine, light and ephemeral condition, a new monumentality that perhaps introduces a legitimate collective aspiration: the reorganization of the current conditions of exteriority.
