The present disclosure is related to the identification of an indoors and outdoors entity location with continuous progression. The method and system for determining the hybrid location information is provided for a GNSS, WLAN enabled device and possibly with other sensors. More specifically, aspects related to the use of the Location Estimation Block (LEB), which processes GNSS and WLAN raw data measurements, and possibly other sensors data to identify the current location of a device at certain points in time. This method incorporates several processing steps to determine the location information, including: the observation of WLAN and/or GNSS measurements and possibly of other sensors to be able to combine the processed data into a single function to obtain information with regard to the entity location.
